Mr. Garcia is a New Mexico-born public policy and communications strategist dedicated to activating community-driven social change. Adan currently leads efforts to build public knowledge and investment in quality instruction, teacher-led professional development, and educational equity across the country as Associate Director of Communications for Leading Educators,. Previously, Adan supported implementation of teacher leadership at more than 30 open-enrollment, public charter schools in Washington, D.C. and designed program evaluation strategies for America Achieves’ educator voice initiatives in Colorado, Michigan, and New York. Adan holds a M.P.P. in social policy and nonprofit management from the University of Maryland and a B.A. in political science from the University of Arizona.
